AWS is the new editor of the Swiss pages of the cross-border specialist magazine OOH! with responsibility for content. The magazine is published in Germany, Austria and Switzerland by Germany’s industry association (Fachverband für Aussenwerbung FAW). Robert Furger from Clear Channel has been elected as a member of the association’s Board.

During its ordinary General Meeting on 14 January 2019, the association AWS Aussenwerbung Schweiz announced its cooperation with Germany’s industry association FAW Fachverband für Aussenwerbung, publisher of the German-language specialist magazine “OOH! Aussenwerbung trifft. Deutschland, Österreich, Schweiz.”. The OOH! magazine is the wide-ranging, cross-border platform for the Out of Home advertising industry. With an average of 40 pages per issue, OOH! reports quarterly on developments, innovations and trends in the industry. It has a circulation of 9,000 copies and an ePaper in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Robert Furger from Clear Channel will replace Urs Zeier, who is stepping down from the Board as he is leaving Clear Channel.

The Chairman of AWS, Markus Ehrle, is pleased about the association's new involvement with the specialist magazine OOH!. He welcomes the fact that despite intense competition, the members are increasingly working together on generic marketing, media research, training, as well as against advertising bans and in favour of liberal legislation. This cooperation is crucial in order to ensure the continuation of the dynamic, positive trend in the analogue ? and especially the digital ? Out of Home advertising market. The association thus also aims to attract more new members to the association in order to better represent their common interests.
