AWS, Aussenwerbung Schweiz (Outdoor Advertising Switzerland), is a Zurich-based association under the terms of Article 60 ff. of the Swiss Civil Code. Traditional out-of-home advertising includes all forms of commercial communication on suitable surfaces in urban areas. It does not include flyposting.
AWS is an umbrella organization for companies and individuals with an interest in out-of-home advertising in Switzerland. It represents the interests of out-of-home advertising towards the authorities and the public. The association is committed to freedom of expression and freedom in advertising and commercial communication in Switzerland.
